Fishing vessel towed to Almerá

On Nov 18, 2021, the 'Antonia Y Juan' suffered an engine breakdown in position 36 45 00.0 N, 002 34 00.0 W, approximately seven nautical miles southwest of Almería in the afternoon of Nov 17. 2021. Salvamento Mar´timo deployed the SAR vessel 'Salvamar Spica' to assist which took the ship in tow and pulled it to the port of Almería.

The 'Antonia Y Juan' with four crew members on board suffered an engine breakdown in position 36 21 36N, 002 21 36W, 15 nautical miles south-southwest of Almería on Sep 10, 2021. The crew asked for assistance, and the RCC mobilized the SAR boat 'Salvamar Spica' to the casualty. It took the vessel in tow and pulled it to the port of Almería at 3 p.m.
