Engine failure off Vancouver Island

The 'BBG Qinzhou' suffered an engine failure west of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, in position 48 34 23.4 N, 125 02 18.6 W, on Dec 14, 2019, at 10.15 a.m. The ship had sailed from Vancouver and was bound to Seattle with an ETA as of Dec 19, 11 p.m. The tug 'Michelle Foss' (IMO: 9748564) and the anti pollution vessel 'W.C. Park Respnder' (IMO: 9043835) were tasked to assist. The ship safely berthed in the port of destination on Dec 19 at 9.45 p.m.
