Fire soon contained
On the morning of Sep 19, 2025, a fire broke out on board the 'Allegro', which is actually used as a refugee accomodation at the Aelbrechts Quayy in Rotterdam. Emergency services responded immediately. On-site, it turned out to be a small fire near an electrical outlet. The fire department quickly brought the situation under control. The people on board had to be evacuated as a precaution, but were able to return on board shortly afterward. No one was injured. Fire in bow thruster room
On June 16, 2016, around midday a fire broke out aboard the "Allegro" on the Maas at Roermond. The fire was remarked in the bow thruster room at 12.20 p.m. The fire rescue was alerted and extinguished the flames. There was no need for the passengers to disembark from the ship as the firefighters had soon gained control over the situation.
