Three dead, one man missing after collision

The "Tolunay" collided with the Turkish Coast Guard boat "SG-25" in the Bosphorus, on Aug 17, 2016, at 8.40 a.m., while proceeding in northern direction. The "SG-25" capsized. Of the seven crew members on board. Six were rescued, three of them injured and in critical condition, who later succumbed to their injuries, and one man remained missing. The "SG-25" sank with the bow still above the water. The "Kıyı Emniyeti 3", "4 Hızlı", "Tahlisiye Botları", "Kurtarma 1" and "8 Römorkörleri" were on site. The "Tolunay" anchored at Büyükdere for investigation. The vessel was en route from Casablanca to Odessa.
