Technical failure at Ayvalik

The "Ali S", en route from Izmir, where it had sailed on June 23, 2019, at 6.20 a.m., to Constantza, Romania, sailing in ballast condition, suffered a technical failure short time after leaving port and dropped anchor at the Ayvalik anchorage. Repairs were carried out by the crew and the vessel remained moored in pos. 39° 13.89' N 026° 39.38' E off Izmir on June 25.

Allision with lock wall in Brunsbüttel, ship repaired at Nobiskrug Yard in Rendsburg

A gust of wind in Brunsbüttel on Friday pressed the freighter "Wilson Tyne" against the middle wall of the large south lock. The ship and wall were only slightly damaged. The ship was later banned from transitting the canal to Ust Luga and ended the voyage at the Nobiskrug yard in Rendsurg. She left the yard after repairs on Nov 6 around 7 p.m. and resumed the voyage, ETA Nov 9.
