Morehead awaits dredge
It may be four to six weeks before a dredge will arrive to alleviate shoaling at the Morehead City Harbor and port pilot Capt. Andrew Midgett said the sooner the better. “We’ll be blessed if we don’t lose ground between now and when the dredge gets here,” said Midgett of the Morehead City Pilots Association.
