Russian spy ship cabable of sabotage observed for several days in area of critical infrastructure
For several days in October, the 'Evgeniy Goriglezha' from Putin's secret military program Gugi sailed around Danish waters. The spy ship is also capable of carrying out sabotage on critical infrastructure on the seabed and sailed with armed soldiers on board. It arrived in Danish waters in the evening of Oct 14 and first stopped around Fehmarn island, where the ship sailed across a small area where the new tunnel will be located. The new Russian research ship 'Yevgeniy Gorigledzha', believed to be used for espionage, sailed along the Dutch coast on Oct 19, 2023. The 'Yevgeny Gorigledzhan' (also Evgeniy Gorigledzhan) is an oceanographic vessel, formally designed for bottom research and underwater work. However, it is part of the Russian secret military program GUGI, which was set up during the Cold War to keep an eye on the enemy. Ships from the military program have previously been linked to espionage activities near undersea data cables. Baltic Sea.
