Collision on the Rhine
In the night of Oct 16, 2015, the "River Concerto" was in collision with a tank barge on the Rhine at Rees. The ship with 135 mostly American passengers passenger on board initially had overtaken the tanker. Then the bow of the tanker clashed into the starboard side stern of the cabin cruiser which suffered significant damage. It wasamounting to more than 10,000 Euro. While the tanker was able to continue the voyage, the passenger ship berthed in Rees. From there, the passengers were able to make tours with buses and later transferred onto the cabin cruiser "Inspire" which had gone alongside. Experts examined the ship for possible technical errors.
