Stena bets on UK-Dutch ro-ro trade

Stena RoRo charters roro Misana on long-term basis
Stena RoRo has reached an agreement with the Finnish shipping company Godby Shipping to long-term charter their three RoRo vessels Misida, Misana and Miranda. The configuration of the vessels is very flexible and they can thus be employed in both the Stena RoRo and the Stena Line networks.
Pilot medevaced
The KNRM boat from Hansweert was called for a medical evacuation from the "Misana" in the afternoon of May 9, 2015. The ship was enroute from Antwerp to the North Sea. The river pilot on board did not feel good. The "Jan van Engelenburg" set course for the ship. The pilot boarded over the fallreep and was treated with oxygen. Meanwhile the crew ordered an ambulance to the dock to Hansweert. As a precaution the ambulance took him to the hospital.
