Newly-completed survey ship begins work
A new survey ship has been launched and tested off the Norfolk coast. The bright yellow Titan Discovery is fitted with surveying equipment for environmental, oceanographic and hydrographic survey work. The vessel takes the number of coastal survey ships operated by owner Titan Environmental Services to five. The Discovery, which is 13 metres in length, can work up to 60 miles offshore and is earmarked for work in estuaries and inter-tidal areas.
