Collision off Banjarmasin
The 'Tanto Mitra' was in collision with the coal loaded barge 'BG.1515', which was under tow of the Indonesian tug 'MBP 3208' (IMO: 9665475). The accident occurred at the outer anchorage of Banjarmasin port in southern Kalimantan in the morning of Sep 13, 2021, upon the arrival of the cargo ship from Jakarta. The clash occurred while the ship was maneuvering to a mooring site. The cargo ship was severely damaged at the bow with a hull breach of 1x5 meters and dents. On Sep 14 at 12.30 a.m., the ship weighed anchor and started moving towards Banjarmasin, escorted by a tug. At 5.40 a.m. it berthed at the Trisakti Port Terminal in Banharmasin.
