Detention in Dongjiakou
The 'Sprite' was detained at Dongjiakou port on Sep 8, 2025 by the Tokyo MoU authorities, one day after the arrival from Marsa Bashayer. The initial inspection uncovered nine deficiencies, three of which being regarded as serious and grounds for a detention. The inspection aimed at evaluating the vessel's overall condition, although specific inspection areas or operational drills were not disclosed.
