Search for missing fisherman intensified

The search for the crew of the "Sin Querer Dos" entered a determining phase so that the Xunta de Galicia has banned fishing activity in the area of ​​sinking and has ordered the withdrawal of all fishing gear within a radius of two nautical miles in the afternoon of Dec 28. The measure will remain in force until the early hours of Jan 1, 20191. The prohibitions affected a radius of about two miles from the point at which the sinking was considered, about 4,5 miles south of Cape Fisterra. Salvamento Maritimo requested this measure to facilitate the SAR teams which were looking for the missing 44-year-old Cambadés Guillermo Casais. In the first place the vessel will be searched with a sonar, and once it is located and its position determined, it was planned inspect it. The depth at which the wreck could be resting was about 90-110 meters. The search for Casais will also continue on the surface.
