Wreck of superyacht raised

The 'Sea Lady II' has been raised by the Hebo Maritiemservice in St Tropez on Aug 7. The salvage operations has been underway since Aug 5. The recovery was using a dedicated yacht lift set, including a large spreader beam designed to minimise further damage to the hull. Even so, the heavily damaged superyacht was expected to be scrapped. Salvage of suken yacht underway

The salvage operations was underway to refloat the 'Sea Lady II' in Port de Saint-Tropez by the Dutch maritime services provider HEBO Maritiemservice, The 'Hebolift 2' had arriving on site on the evening of Aug 5. The salvage effort was being supported by the DUC Diving from Urk, whose team was deploying lift bags and carrying out underwater operations. The recovery was utilising HEBO’s dedicated yacht lift set, including a large spreader beam designed to minimise further damage to the hull. If all goes according to plan, the 'Sea Lady II' will finally float under her own buoyancy. The operation is expected to be completed by the end of Aug 7 or the early morning of Aug 8. Lifting balloons attached to sunken yacht

On July 14 the operation to refloat the 'Sea Lady II' in Saint-Tropez has started. Following the oil spill cleanup near the fire site. employees from the YDGS shipping company worked all day to raise the wreck. On the morning, several dozen lifting balloons were installed by divers around the vessel, and the water was being pumped out of the ship, which had a weight of 400 tons.
