15 migrants rescued off Cádiz
On May 10, the Guardia Civil advised Salvamento Marítimo aboout a possible migrants boat near Cádiz, which mobilized the 'Salvamar Suhail' to the scene. The rescue boat during its search, spotted a flare in the air and headed to the position. Once on scene, the crew rescued the 15 people on board the rubber boat and disembarked them at the port. Fishing boat towed to Santa Maria
On the morning of March 7, 2025, the 'Salvamar Suhail' was tasked to assist a fishing boat that had become disabled 4.5 nautical miles from Cabo Roche. On Jan 4, 2025, the SAR helicopter Helimer 220 located a migrant boat. The 'Salvamar Suhail' was deployed to the scene and rescued 11 people from boat. The castaways were isembarked a Puerto América. The SAR operation wascoordinated by the MRCC of Salvamento Marítimo in Cadiz.
