Yacht towed to Cariño
On the morning of Sep 2, the MRCC of the DGzRS in Bremen reported that the German sailboat 'Heide Marie' was having steering problems 30 nautical miles north of Estaca de Bares with one crew member on board. The CCS Fisterra of Salvamento Marítimo mobilised the 'Salvamar Alioth', which took the yacht in tow and safely pulled it to Cariño. The Italian flagged sailing yacht 'Prestige' was adrift 8.5 nautical miles from Burela on July 22. The 'Salvamar Alioth' was mobilized to assist by the CCS Finisterre of Salvamento Marítimo. Fishing vessel towed to Burela
The Galician 11-m-fishing vessel 'Virxen do Rocío' had to be towed to the port of Burela in the Mariña region on Feb 16, 2023, at 8.30 a.m. after suffering a cooling problem in the engine that left the vessel and its crew of two disabled.
