Divers found cocaine at ship's bottom
The 'Robusta', en route from Santos to Marmara Ereglisi, was attended by police and Coast Guard teams from the narcotic department from shore and seaside due to alleged smuggling of cocaine after the vessel berthed at Martas port on July 30, 2022. Underwater inspections were performed by diver teams. 242 kilograms of cocaine were found at the bottom of the ship. A legal file was opened by the public prosecutor and police authority. The departure permission was cancelled until the completion of investigations. Crew statements were collected by the authorities. The 'Robusta' remained stationary in port as of Aug 2.
