Detention in Alexandria
On Jan 14, 2025, the ' Ray' was detained in Alexandria with 16 deficiencies, seven of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Labour conditions - Wages Non payment of wages 2) Structural conditions - Hull damage impairing seaworthiness Holed 3) Life saving Appliances - Rescue boats Not properly maintained 4) Safety of navigaiton - Radar Inoperative 5) Radio communications - INMARSAT Ship earth station Inoperative 6) Propulsion and auxiliary machinery - Propulsion main engine Not as required 7) Propulsion and auxiliary machinery - Auxiliary machinery Not as required The vessel was released again on Feb 4 and are remained stationary in Alexandria for the time being.
