Engine damae off Piraeus

On June 20, 2024, at noon , the Port Authority of Argosaronicos was informed by the Master of the 'Phivos' about a damage to the port side main engine, while the ship was on a scheduled route from the port of Aegina to the port of Piraeus. The ferry sailed independently and safely to the port of Piraeus, where it disembarked the 133 passengers. The Port Department of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus banned the vessel from sailing until the repair of the damage and the presentation of a certificate of class maintenance by the monitoring classification society.

Ship lost anchor

The Port Authority of Piraeus was informed in the morning of Oct 8, 2021, by the Captain of the 'Phivos' that while the ship was operating a scheduled route coming from the port of Aegina, lost its port side anchor shortly before the completion of the mooring process. The ship managed to safely berth in the port of Piraeus, and the passengers who were to board the ship on its next scheduled route to Aegina, were forwarded to their destination with the care of the ship-owning company.

Bow thruster damage in Piraeus

on June 3, 2019, the master of the "Phivos" upon its arrival at the port of Piraeus, coming from Aegina, reported that the vessel had suffered a damage to its bow thruster. The Port authority detained the ferry in port until the bow thruster was repaired and a class maintenance certificate was issued. All 20 passengers who were waiting to board the vessel were transferred to another vessel and transported to their destinations.
