Tug secured disabled pleasure boat

On the afternoon of May 24, 2025, a rescue operation took place on the Wester Scheldt near buoy 27A. The US flagged pleasure craft 'Jackalope' with one person on board broke down between the red buoys and drifted rudderlessly across the channel towards green buoy 27A near Terneuzen. An attempt to stop the drift by dropping the anchor failed. It drifted past the 'BF Hamburg' and then past the Stolt Integrity', before ' Multratug 22' arrived and towed the vessel to the old ferry terminal in Terneuzen. During the passage of the 'CMA CGM Seine', the "Multratug 22" deployed its tow to the lee of the ferry terminal, acting as a breakwater. Tug towed disabled yacht to Flushing

In the evening of Oct 3, 2022, the sailing yacht 'Au La La' had to anchor near the Borssele Total jetty after the ship ran out of fuel. The 'Multratug 22' was quickly on site and took the yacht in tow and eventually moored it safely in the inner port of Flushing.
