Passenger lift out of order
The lift of the 'Isle of Mull', serving on the route Oban-Craignure, was out out of service on Aug 23. An engineer went on board and carried out repairs. Customers were advised that the passenger access system in both Oban and Craignure remained in operation. Passengers who required assistance were advised to travel aboard the ferry 'Loch Frisa'. Service Engineers have attended, however repairs have been unsuccessful. The lift remained out of service whilst further investigations were carried out by service engineers. A spare part was required for repairs and was due to be aboard on Sep 1, with a further update to be provided then.
Sailing delayed due to technical issue
On Agu 14, the 'Isle of Mull', serving on the route Oban-Craignure, suffered a technical issue that required further investigations. As a consequence, the scheduled 07:25 a.m. sailing from Obanwas delayed by approximately 30 minutes.
Ferry delayed due to engine issue
The 'Isle of Mull', serving on the route Oban-Craignure, suffered a technical issue withthe port side main engine on the morning of July 30. The issue required further investigation at the quay in Oman, and as a consequence, the scheduled departure from the port at 07:25 was delayed. After repairs were successfully completed, the vessel started loading operations, but there may be a knock on delay to the sailings for the remainder of the day. Customers were advised, however, to check in as normal.
