Epic Gas takes first vessel of its large expansion programme
Singapore: Fast growing Epic Gas has announced that their 5,000 cu m fully-pressurised gas carrier, Epic St Thomas, was delivered on Jan. 20 from Sasaki Shipyard in Japan. Lars Vang Christensen, CEO of Epic Gas, stated: “We are extremely pleased with the high quality workmanship and design of the Epic St Thomas. Our commercial team are in the final stages of negotiating a long term contract with an oil major for operating the vessel in Europe.” The next newbuild addition to the fleet will be the 5,000 cu m sister ship, Epic St Croix, to be delivered from Sasaki Shipyard in April this year.
