Trawler grounded off Kos
The 'Eros B.' ran aground about 24,5 nautical miles southwest of Kos island in the vicinity of pos. 36 27 00 N, 026 47 00 E, with seven crew members on board in the morning of Dec 10, 2023. A Greek Coastguard vessel proceeded to the site to provide assistance. Upon its arrival, the trawler had refloated unassisted. It was escorted to the port of Kalymnos. The Kalymnos Port Authority banned the trawler from sailing until the damage has been repaired and a certificate of seaworthiness issued by the attending surveyor.
