On 28 May 2025, the self-discharging bulk carrier ENERGIA CENTAURUS from Misumi, Shimane, Japan, arrived at Port of Newcastle, NSW, via the entrance to the South Channel of the Hunter River, guided by tugboats, heading to the PWCS Kooragang Coal Terminal.
