On the morning of May 31, 2025, the Port Authority of Tinos was informed that the 'Ekaterini P', which was operating a scheduled route from the port of Naxos to Mykonos-Tinos-Rafina with 75 passengers, 13 vehicles, five motorcycles, four trucks and 48 crew members on board, an aground at the pier of the outer port of Tinos during the mooring operations. The passengers and vehicles destined for Rafina were forwarded with the company's care. The incident caused no injuries, and no marine pollution was observed and no water ingress was reported. On the morning of March 4, 2025, the 1st Port Department of Tzelepi of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus was informed by the Captain of the 'Ekaterini P.' about a mechanical failure, ahead of the ship’s departure from the port on the route to Serifos-Sifnos-Kimolos-Folegandros-Sikinos-Ios-Thira with 195 passengers, 46 private vehicles and 15 trucks on board. EKATERINI P 9000443

Mon Sep 11 10:01:18 CEST 2023 Timsen

The anchors of the 'Fast Ferries Andros' (IMO: 8907280), the 'Ekaterini P.' and the 'Super Ferry' (IMO: 9110016) got entangled during the departure of the ferries from Rafina on Sep 9, 2023. A collision was avoided between all involved vessels at the last minute. The incident occurred due to bad weather conditions prevailing in the area. The 'Super Ferry' lost its port anchor, and the Master of the vessel informed the Port Authority of Tinos, which initially prohibited the sailing of the ferry until a class maintenance certificate permitting its continued sailing was issued by the ship's surveyor. Following the presentation of the certificate, the vessel was allowed to depart Tinos on its scheduled service.
