Tank barge allided with quay
On Nov 3, 2018, around 8 a.m. the "Dutch Pride", 2950 ts (ENI: 02332400), veered off course and allided with a quay at the Dordtsche Kil and sandwiched a berthed barge. The "RWS 71" of Rijkswaterstaat and the "P93" of the police attended the tanker. The ship traffic from and to Moerdijk had to pass the accident site with caution. The tankermanaged to refloat with own power and was escorted by tugs, the police and Rijkswaterstaat to 's-Gravendeel. The damage to the quay had yet to be assessed. The "Dutch Pride" berthed in Dordrecht at 9 a.m. and continued to Werkendam on Nov 4 at 1 p.m. Since Nov 5 at 9.30 a.m .the ship was berthed at the Veka Shipyard in the Beatrix Port there.
