Domarin 17 involved in salvage of grounded convoy
On Jan 15, 2016, the "Domarin 17" and the tug "Beskydy" were involved in the salvage operation of a barge convoy consisting of the "Elbe 1" and "WL 4" which had run aground on the right side shore of the Elbe at river km 122,8 at the socalled Aussiger Winkel. Salvage ttampts on Jan 7 with the "TR 15" and "Bonafide" had failed. Also the work of the "Beskydy" which arrived on Jan 9 was in vain due to the low water level.
