Tug cut up at Las Palmas
The "Boluda don Blas" was being cut up at the Logiscrap company in the port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in March 2022. She is one of the four tugs that have been decommissioned by Boluda between 2020 and 2021. The previous three have been the vessels "VB Solea", "Boluda Garbi" and "Sertosa Nueve". In its last sailing months, the "Boluda don Blas" was based in the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma. In her service record she has some meritorious actions, such as the rescue of the German merchant ship "Ems River", which occurred on Aug 24 and 25, 2011, west of La Palma.
