Yacht bumped into a stone
The Norwegian JRCC was notfied that the "Barolo III" was disabled on July 28, 2016, at 5.50 p.m. at old Hellesund off Lillesand. The lifeboat "Bendt R. Rasmussen" was called to assist. It had been 300 meters away and took the yacht in tow soon after. The owner Bjørn Maaseide stated that the yacht had bumped into a stone which damaged the propeller, so that the engine shut down subsequently. They were two people on board. After an investigation the yacht continued the journey towards Kragerø following the reset of the system one hour later.
