Anna's spell in Esbjerg following grounding ended
The "Anna" left the port of Esbjerg on June 3 at 7.30 p.m. It sailed from the Trafikhavns Quay bound for Marin with an ETA of June 8. The ship had docked there on June 27 after its grounding off El Ferrol on May 19, and moved to the Tvaer Quay on May 29 where it remained until June 3 before shifting back to the Trafikhanvs Quay and heading out into the Northsea the same evening.
Aground and refloated, Spain
General cargo vessel Anna ran aground entering Ferrol Bay, Spain, Biscay Bay, in San Cristovo area near San Carlos Castle, at around 13:30 UTC May 19 13. Anna ran aground reportedly after engine failure. Vessel was refloated some 3 hours later with the help of two tugs and high tide, and proceeded to Ferrol port, was berthed at around 17:00. No spill reported. No information about damages, but vessel ran aground on rocks, some damages highly probable. Vessel was en route from Esbjerg Denmark to Ferrol.
