7 dead after Indonesia ferry sinking on her way from Merak to Lampung
A ferry carrying more than 200 people has collided with a cargo ship and sunk in Indonesia's Sunda Strait, killing at least seven people. The ferry was taking passengers from the West Java port of Merak to Lampung on the bottom tip of Sumatra. As it crossed the busy shipping lane a large cargo ship ploughed into the smaller boat, sinking it and throwing people into the sea. Indonesian water police and rescue authorities have so far saved about 200 people but at least seven people died. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2012-09-26/anferry-sinking/4281846?section=business
