Truck fell into Duncan Bay

A tank truck full of dead salmon fell from the 'Inlet Raider' which was underway with a crew of three on board, into the Duncan Bay, north of Campbell River, British Columbia,, on Dec 29, 2019, in position 50 06 14.5N, 125 17 48.5W, 0.24 miles west of Quadra Island, at 1.50 a.m. in adverse weather conditions. The tank truck remained vertically afloat and was towed to Duncan Bay. Bill Vaughn, owner of Coastal Seatrucking, said that nothing had spilt from the trailer. The company provides services for aquaculture companies in the region with the 'Inlet Raider'. Fisheries and Oceans has been involved.
